  • PCI’s Holmes and Orfanos Named Among Insurance Industry’s Elite Women in 2016
  • WASHINGTON — The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) today applauds June Holmes and Joanne Orfanos for being named among the insurance industry’s Elite Women of 2016 by Insurance Business of America (IBA). This recognition is bestowed to women who are changing the face of the American insurance sector through personal and professional achievements.

    “We congratulate June and Joanne for being recognized as exemplary leaders in the insurance industry,” said David A. Sampson, PCI’s president and CEO. “PCI is honored to be prominently featured among this impressive list of women leaders.”

    Holmes serves as PCI’s chief operating officer and treasurer, responsible for the operational management of the organization. Orfanos is PCI’s senior vice president of membership and marketing communications. Randi Cigelnik, PCI’s senior vice president, corporate secretary and general counsel was named to the IBA Elite Women list in 2015.

PCI is composed of nearly 1,000 member companies, representing the broadest cross section of insurers of any national trade association. PCI members write more than $195 billion in annual premium, 35 percent of the nation's property casualty insurance. Member companies write 42 percent of the U.S. automobile insurance market, 28 percent of the homeowners market, 33 percent of the commercial property and liability market and 35 percent of the private workers compensation market.
