PCI To Sponsor Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Women in Insurance Conference Series

CHICAGO- The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) announced that it has committed to serve as a Program Sponsor of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s 2014 Women in Insurance Global Conference Series, to be held in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Dallas this June.

The Women in Insurance Conference Series Forums consists of four, individual regional events designed to provide an environment for insightful discussions surrounding gender diversity in insurance, women’s leadership in the industry, and the changing workforce of the future. Each conference will feature a unique slate of premier speakers and breakout sessions designed while affording attendees with a tremendous networking opportunity with peers from throughout the industry.

“Addressing industry challenges and enhancing leadership roles for women within the business community are important topics, said Marguerite Tortorello, senior vice president of public affairs for PCI. “At PCI we are proud to stand together with IICF in support of advancing these issues. We have high hopes that other executives affiliated with the insurance industry will join us in attending these forums.”

“PCI has been a wonderful partner of the IICF,” said Bill Ross, chief executive officer for the organization. “Their leadership, alongside all of our partners, is what will continue to drive change throughout the insurance industry.”

The IICF is a registered 501(c)3 organization that was established in 1994 and is directed and funded by the insurance industry. The organization helps communities and enriches lives by uniting the collective strengths of the industry to provide grants, volunteer service and leadership.
